Question #1:

How do I talk some sense into my makeup-obsessed friend?

Ok so I have this "friend." I don't count her as a true friend because she definitely doesn't act like one. The only reason I'm friends with her is because our parents are really good friends and we always go places together.

Well she's a few years younger than me, and she's 12. She's also super rich and spoiled, and her mom buys her everything she wants! Everything she has is name-brand (Chanel, Dior, Juicy, Coach, etc) while I'm from a middle-class family and can barely afford that kind of stuff.

Okay well anyways,, she has developed this MAJOR makeup obsession! She is ADDICTED to it and it's like all she talks about now. Plus, all she does at home is 1) watch makeup videos on Youtube, and 2) Try different makeup "looks". She doesn't care about school, homework, or anything like that. She even told me she has a bunch of C's and she doesn't care at all. All she cares about is looking "pretty".

Her mom wants her to get good grades and tries her best to get her to study but she just won't listen!
Now I'm kind of worried about her and her future, because I think her IQ is getting lower or something because she can't even understand what me and our friends are saying sometimes!

DESPERATE For A Good Concealer?

Ok, right I've recently started wearing makeup and I have my perfect foundation which is the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid and I'm just going to say it's so good I was going to buy a chanel foundation but my aunt who is a make up artist said try the Maybelline one and I'm so glad I did I saved so much money buying the Maybelline one and its makes my skin look FLAWLESS. But don't try this if you have acne/scaring or anything only use it if you have dry/normal skin. And its also really moistirising. Anyway I've tried concealer sticks and liquid concealers and all the ones I've tried have settled into fine lines and I aint even got wrinkles im 14 lol and haven't even coverd up my dark circles also I have to keep putting it on all day which dosen't look nice I need a concealer that covers up dark circles effectively, dosen't settle into fine lines and dosen't need reaplying all day.

Ladies whats the best DRUGSTORE liquid foundation and powder makeup?

I was using Lancome's liquid in Buff 2 color (oil free)

and in Chanel i have the Double Perfection in Tender Bisque color spf 10

im running out and i have always been curious about the drugstore brands. I have a little bit of frekles on my nose and a bit of dark circles under my eyes. I dont use concelear because w/the liquid foundation it covers up really good. I do have an oily T-Zone so i would like something oil free..and something that last a really long time. The powder i would like it to have a really nice finish im all about the NATURAL LOOK even if i am wearing makeup. i dont like it to look all cakey. I dont use a lot of the powder moslty on my tzone and for touch ups...It would also be nice if the makeup doesnt melt or run i live in the L.A area and it gets hot. Oh and also that it wont make me break out....So ladies a little help please in finding something for me, Thank You in advance! =)

P.S How do i know wich is my right color ANDDDD What if i buy it and it doesnt match my color...can i return it back to Target? Because thats where im going to buy it lol...OoKiies MMbbYyye noww!
im kind of on the pale side i like it that way lol i can always add a little color with blush...i dont like PINK or too YELLOW tones on the makeup colors...

The last foundation I bought was chanel foundation and I loved using it. I've now run out of foundation and rather than buying it again I want to buy a cheaper foundation to save money. Can anyone recommend a good and fairly cheap foundation please, which I can buy at say boots or superdrug? Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions but I would never buy makeup on amazon. I want to buy it myself and see it and the colour before I buy it.

What makeup should I use for my face?

I used to have alot of acne, and I still do mostly on my forehad, but now its more of the redness left. My skin brokeout like 3 years ago when I used bare minerals powder, I didnt have not one pimple before using that. After that I used mac and it was okay but many people said that its not good for skin so i switched to Lancome, and used it like for more than a year. It wasnt bad but it was very cakey. Then last time I used Chanel's foundation and powder and it was okay too but my face was really cakey and oily, even though on the foundation it says OIL FREE. Now I have to buy makeup cuz chanel finished, so now I am thinking about what to get. I wanna go back to MAC, because many people use it and it looks good. And some people tell me to use sheer cover, but it's not available at stores and I have to try it before choosing the color. Plus I dont really want sheer cover because it's mineral makeup and i am afraid it will be bad for my face. My dermotologist told me to use retin a, and when i asked him about foundation/powder he said mineral makeup but when i told him that i broke out after bare minerals and he said i can use whatever i want. so can someone please give me an idea what to use/. thanks

I am planning on using Mac makeup and i need help?

I was using Lancome but then I switched to Chanel's foundation and powder, but now I wanna use Mac. I have acne, not too much anymore but the redness is still there, so usually I use both foundation and powder with Chanel and Lancome, but Mac's powder covers the redness of my face completely so I might just get the powder, I am not sure yet. Can anyone tell me which one should I use? I see that they have differenc powders and foundations. Should I get a foundation and a powder, or the one that has both foundation and powder in it? Or should i get the liquid powder or whatever that is. help please thanks

Whats a good department store makeup that covers well and doesn't clog pores?

I have really bad acne scars on my cheeks. I dont break out as much as I used to be I still always get one or two pimples. One Doctor Told Me I had dry skin but it had been because I was using Proactive. So I bought a makeup from Chanel and they gave it to me for Dry Skin but everytime I wear it for a whole day,by the end of the day I'd have a pimple again. Im not going to use chanel again only because it costs $120 for just the foundation and compact and lets face it,Im 18 and dont have that kind of money to be spending on makeup. So Im looking for a department store makeup (target,walgreens,Etc.) that covers well,wont make me pasty looking and is oilfree.Any help??Please.
