Why asian girls care about the theme of their clothing that much?

no racist answer pl. my gf. is asian and she is special than any other girls I been dated, I mean she seems to care of how she looks very much. she never wear a t-shirt or jeans like the other girls, she has her own clothing style and her favorit boutiques she visits every months, and it seems she will never adapt to wear normal cloth like other girls - I find each of her dress are so expensive, I can buy a mobile phone or some IT stuffs for that amount of money. there are 3 styles she like to wear - one is from the brands british India or the west Indies, the cloths are handmade, and the fabrics are imported from india, they look like the cloth white women worn in 18 century when they visited asia countries. the other one I couldn't remember the brand, but all cloths from this boutique seem to look like semi-Gothic, but look preppy in the same time - the other style my gf. wears frequently is vintage, a flower print dress with a lot of lace goes along with a flat ballerina shoes or a blow fish shoes. I don't mind if she want to wear those stuffs, but they are too expensive and the most important she uses my money or her parents money to buy them. she also like to buy an expensive makeup too and she always get angry and says thing about race up, to make me sad when I denied to give her money. however, I always tell her she looks pretty and its not necessary to wear those expensive cloth, or have to go to salon and curl her hair to look like a princess all the times, but my girlfriend doesn't listen to me she insists she want to look like to way she make up herself.

What's your first impression if you saw an gloomy asian girl with eyeliner n glasses?

People take a look and right away they say "freak", "ska*nk", unhappy pissed of girl, list goes on. Only, I mean only people will tell me I look nice, sweet, pretty, and decent only if I smile. If, I frown it's the complete opposite.

I'm describing myself without a pic, this is a girl who has insecurity issues.
I'm been gloomy for a very long time and I wear lots of eyeliner. Doesn't help. I just want to know how ppl perceive this image. Visualize it in your mind and tell me what you think and please be honest.

I've never even plucked my eyebrows, but they suck. These people look uglier than the average person. Why are they on TV?
1. Rosario Dawson and Fergie: It's just criminal that she's making money to be on TV and she walks around thinking she's hot sh*t. EWW
2. Lucy Liu: Tila Tequila isn't that hot, but as an Asian girl, I have to say Tila looks wayyyy better than Lucy Liu and her slant eyes. Even Maggie Q is hotter.
3. Sandra Oh: Again Tila looks wayyyy better and she's not even the hottest Asian.
4. Kirsten Dunst: She's gross, pale skin, and horrible facial features (lack of cheek bone structure and fat).
5. Gisele Bundchen: She has a great body, but her face is weird and she looks manly.
6. Julia Stiles: Eww
7. Emma Stone: She looks emo and I can't stand her voice. She didn't even look good in Superbad. Lyndsy Fonseca, from Kickass, is way hotter and a great voice.
8. Amanda Seyfried: She looks weird and kinda retarded. The ugliest girl out of the "Plastics" from mean girls. I have no idea why she made it big. Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams (with the blonde wig :P) and Lacey Chabert all look better.
9. Renee Zellwegger: Probably the most unattractive celebrity in the history of celebrity. She's fat, has no self-esteem, and just ewww.
10. Sarah Jessica Parker: She looks like a horse. Nuff said.
11. Kristen Stewart: She's a druggie and she's just ugly and weird all-around. Have you guys seen her at award ceremonies?
12. Maggie Gyllenhaal: Dark Knight was a great movie, but it needs better casting. Maggie is eww.
13. Rihanna: She used to be pretty cute when she first burst upon the scene. She wasn't Beyonce, but then again, who can match up to Bey? She was the Bahamas beach girl with long curly hair. Now she's all weird with short spiky colorful hair, edgy outfit, dominatrix crap, and a weird forehead.
14. Mariah Carey: She used to be alright, now she's twice the size of hubby Nick Cannon and I swear if you take off her hair extensions, she would look like a man.
15. Hilary Duff: She's a fatty.
16. Taylor Swift: She's not ugly, but she's overrated. Use eyeliners to cover up her tiny Asian eyes and seems like a bit of a dork.
17. Ashlee Simpson: Jessica was a natural beauty before she got fat and gross, but Ashlee just seems like an emo poser.
18. Britney Spears: She's a whale. Let's just leave it at that.

Question #7:

What brand of face makeup should I get?

Could you please recommend a concealer and foundation to me? I've never used either before so I need some good advice. I have sensitive skin and my face has pimples, gets red easily, and oily too. I'm Asian and have an oilve/South East Asian skin tone.
What are other face makeups I should get? Like primers?

I'm only looking to buy drug store brands so nothing like bare minerals.

That's the same thing she says about makeup when she was in the 5th grade and she is in the 8th grade now and she started wearing makeup. She claims she's never going to wear heels, even to her high school prom and I know girls wear high heels to the prom because it is an prom accessorie. Do you think she's going to change her opinion on high heels very soon as she enters high school ??? She is an asian girl and she is nerdy but she says she's getting girlier a little bit.

Why are people in school always staring at me?

I go to an Asian high school, so most people don't put makeup on.
I used to go to an American high school so I'm used to putting some foundation to cover up some blemishes.
I was wearing foundation, just enough to look like I have better skin, but not powdery at all.
I would say it's not unnatural, but you can tell I'm wearing something to cover up.
For the eyes, I'm simply wearing a really really light thin line of black eyeliner on the edge of my eyes.
I smudge it so it just looks like I'm not wearing eyeliner, but my eyes seem bigger.
I also curl my lashes and put mascara on. With skin coloured eye shadow, just a bit.
However, I've noticed that people come and from the distant, you can tell they're staring at you.
They seem kind of interested and shocked, both at the same time.
My friend told me I'm one of the good looking girls in the class. So I'm happy to hear that.
She also says I dress really cool and I'm different. I'm usually mistaken as a half blood, which is really attention catching, even though I'm fully Asian.
Back in my old school, people used to be attracted to me. They'd say I'm good looking and hawt, and I look nice. People actually go after me.
On the streets, I look much older than being a high schooler.
I wear heels sometimes and make up. Like a grown up. No one would guess I'm still in high school.
As you know, lots of people wear make up, a lot more than I do, and no one stares at them like that.
But they always stare at me.
I don't know if it's because I look weird, or I have an alien looking face, I'm pretty, or I'm strange?
Why do people always stare like that? I don't have high self esteem at all, so I wouldn't say I'm especially good looking! I'm really sick of not knowing why people stare at me like that, like they're seeing something interesting...people from my school, different grades, even TURN AROUND and stare some more and laugh or smile, then whisper to his friends. I don't know why? My friend said my makeup is natural enough to just cover up flaws. So she doesn't know why they stare?
I also heard people say I look a lot older than them. Asians are a bit less mature, so I seem a lot older.

I am not self concious, just curious. Do I sound pretty to you?

I have wavy brown hair just above my shoulders. My hair is sometimes frizzy and can be really pretty when I straighten it.I have side swept bangs to my left. I have baby blue eyes. My eyes look pretty with or without makeup but I like wearing eyeliner sometimes. My lips are "heart shaped" as my dad says. They are usually a really light pink. My nose... Looks like a nose. Only one problem with my face... I have acne. I am fairly tan for living in Washington and not have ever been in a tanning salon. Oh, btw I'm 25% asian and when I tell people the only reason they believe me is because of the shape of my eyes. I am sorta skinny sorta not. 108 lbs. I'm 12 years old so I guess im health for my age. I don't feel skinny though. I don't really care either. My bra (lol that's a funny word) is a 34A but I am almost a B cup. My shirts are USUALLY medium but some brands I'm small and some brands I'm large. I always have to try my clothes on before I buy them. My pants are usually a 3-5. I feel like I have "fat" legs. My legs are pretty long. They have lots of muscles because I play soccer. I am 5 ft 4 and 1/2 in. tall. I AM NOT SELF CONCIOUS. I AM JUST CURIOUS. DO NOT MAKE MEAN OR RUDE COMMENTS!!!!

Okay I know that there are like a billion different people who do makeup tutorials on youtube, but they all seem to be asian, and I'm just afraid that their makeup would only look good on people with all of asian/chinese features (like skin color and eye shape, and things like that). Do you know of any makeup artists that are European or Caucasian (and maybe have redhair or are pale with blue eyes at least)?

i'm friends with this one asian girl. she is super, duper pretty (naturally, she wears no makeup) and super, duper nice to EVERYONE. however, tonsss of asian girls treat her rudely (other girls treat her normally). i don't want to be mean, but at my school, there are not a lot of pretty asian girls. do they treat her meanly bc they are jealous or intimidated? how do i convince my dad to let me use nail polish?

im korean and well its sort of an "asian" thing...
my dad first told me that i couldnt do it cuz he thought that i wouldnt be able to focus on studying and stuff, so i was like, its not like im gonna change it every days and stuff! but he was like, STILL you wouldnt be able to focus becuz you would be thinking about what colour you would want to use next and stuff!
then today he told me that it was because i would be "attracting" boys!(ughh what a load a crap!!!)
and im only 12! some ppl would probably start dating at the age of 12 but not me! i dont even like anyone and no one like me for more than a friend and i dont even wanna start dating! so i told him that and he was like well if you dont use nail polish there would be a 100 percent chance that itll never happen!

so anyways how do i convince him to let me use it???

ok so im geting comments saying i should buy liht coloured nail polish...
well because my dad is opposed no nail polish and i get in trouble for asking him to much, my mom doesnt want me to bring it up anymore! i still do now and then but she trys to give me a few hints, telling me to stop! so anyways...you guys tell me to bue light coloured nail polish...but thats impossible. if my mom doesnt want me to talk/use/buy nail polish how can i buy them? its not like i can break the law, drive to a nail polish store and buy some!my mom told me like a year ago that she would buy me a light coloured one but i started complaining how it wouldnt look the best so she just said fine and left the room...do you think i should have just agreed? if yes shoul i bring THAT up and ask my mom?

i have straight hair because i am asian..
and i loveee wavy hair. but everyone knows i have stick straight hair and whenever i do anything to my hair i feel like im getting so dolled up for school and i feel stupid..

i dont wear that much makeup.. (just some powder to even my skin, mascara and eyeliner)
and make my hair wavy..

best foundation for sensitive asian acne prone skin?

I've been having problems with makeup for a while now. first I've been searching for the right makeup that won't irritate my skin and cause acne whie treating it. But now, I need to find the right makeup that matches my asian skintone. I've tried neutrogena and physician's formula, but they all look too pink, white, or orange, and it looked disgusting at me. I didn't bother with the other brands cause they would either cause my acne or cause me to oil too much.

I need some help on asian makeup brands that are good for my skintone, and has good coverage cause i have a LOT of red scars and acne still, but still doens't look too cakey.

Also, I'd prefer it to be natural, since all the harsh ingredients just aggravates my skin and causes more acne and make me more res

so...I've been told that I have an unproportionally large nose and big lips. pics included?

I have been told by a few of my family members that my nose is a bit larger than normal and that I have big lips. I know my family does love me, and their critique is a way to show that they care in some strange way that can't really be described unless you were actually a part of my family. However, it still hurts. I've asked them to stop, and they would grin and tell me that they loved me and were simply pointing out a few minor details of my facial features. The latter doesn't bother me as much, considering that everyone in my family has always had thin lips. However, it's been bothering me lately as they have been making more comments about it, ever since they learned that I was single. They would say "blah blah blah would be prettier and attract more males if her nose was like this and her lips were more delicate and not so thick." They proceeded to call my lips like that of an African American's (sorry if I offended anyone, I have no intention to sound racist). I don't wear any makeup at all, and I'm definitely trying not to consider any form of plastic surgery, since I've always tried to embrace my natural side, so I can accept myself, with the good and the bad. So, what do you think about me? Do you think that my face is out of proportion? My eyes have always been, since I am Asian, but still. Do you think that I'm pretty? If it's not too much trouble, I hope you don't mind rating me on a scale of 1-10 as well, and give me a description of why you chose that answer. Thank you!
