Question #1:

why do you need to go to the orthodentist after an extraction?

because i never went, and the dentist told me to. this was about 7 weeks ago. btw, the extraction site hurts whenever i brush my teeth or touch it with my gum. also it never grew back (it was a baby tooth). another thing, the other day when i brushed it alott of blood came out. could it possibly be infected? and do i have to go to the orthodentist

can maybelline dream SMOOTH mousse be applied with fingers?

i'm used to using liquid foundations, which i use my fingers to apply.
i just bought dream smooth mousse tonight, and i'll be using it in the morning.
almost every review i've read about this says it's applied with a brush.
the only face brush's i have are for setting powder.
so, they're not dense or flat-topped.
would this foundation work well if i apply it with my fingers?
help. :)

Is my son strange for doing this?

My son eight years old is very obsessive of the way he looks. He'll go to bed early because he doesn't want tired bags under his eyes. He'll place a warm wash cloth over his eyes when they're puffy in the mornings. He washes and then splashes his face with cold water to close up the pores. Takes his shower. He applies lotion so his skin won't dry out then he'll comb his hair for about fifteen minutes until it's perfectly done. Then he'll brush his teeth for near to ten minutes (he loves it for some reason) floss. Then he'll iron his already ironed polo and khakis (my son will wear nothing besides khakis dress pants dress shirts and polos). Then after getting dressed he'll polish his shoes (he refuses to wear sneakers the only other shoes he'll wear are his basketball and football shoes and that's only to games and practice). I think it's great he does all of this. However, isn't it a bit strange. My other kids hate waking up and could care less about how they look. Not Julian though he's always up on time and ready for school ten minutes ahead of time polishing his shoes.

What's wrong with my bottom teeth? (picture)?

I couldn't really get a good picture, but my bottom teeth have been this way for some months now. It looks very similar to plaque at the bottom but I can brush and scrape as much as I want and nothing will come off, it's pretty hard. Is it my gums receding or something?

Shaving Brushes Question?

I shave daily but have never used a shaving brush . My skin is prone to flare up with spots etc so I was wondering before I invest in a good quality shaving brush if it can cause any damage to my skin to develop/damage spots .

its rude to give someone mint?

I have very good dental hygiene but despite all my efforts; my breath stinks sometimes. I feel so small when someone offers me mint since they are sending a message and there's really nothing more I can do other than my daily ritual of flossing, brushing, using tons of mouthwash and chewing gum. Please be considerate when you choose to give someone mint, it can ruin someones day; honestly. Like it does mine.

Okay so today i got my braces off. I was brushing my teeth when I realized they had little scratches on them... I'm thinking these are from when they were scraping the glue off. Will these go away?

What is he thinking about me?

There is this guy in one of my classes. He's a year older than me. We sit directly across from one another on the opposite sides of the room and every time I look up he's staring at me! Then today right when I walked past him he came up right behind me and looked like he was going to start up a conversation with me but when I stopped at my locker he walked really slowly and his arm brushed mine.

Haha idk why I'm asking this but I'm just curious to know what is going on through his mind...he seems somewhat shy and he is absolutely gorgeous.

The other guys all seem like idiots and stare at me too but I'm interested in him haha what should I do? I'm pretty shy myself.

I also don't want to make myself seem like everyone stares and me and blah blah blah so don't think that I'm obsessed with myself..because I'm not.

I have a whole in the back of my tooth and I don't know what to do. It's a cavity. I already had a root canal in 2008 & I don't want another one again! How can I control me teeth from not getting cavities? I mean yes brush your teeth but I need to floss right and drink milk? any suggestions? thanks :)

Do I have to worry about this? Emergency?

So, I was riding my horse in my front field, then all the sudden this large beastly dog comes tearing around the house and across the yard. When it got up close, I realized it wasn't a dog.....

but...

a BEAR.

Oh my god, I almost pissed my pants.

As it explored our trash cans, I calmly trotted my horse back to the barn. The other horses were already in their stalls, I was going to turn them out when I got done riding, so I put my horse in her stall. I've never had to deal with bears before, because they normally stay on the mountain, and never come this far down (I have 4 (10 - 15 acre) horse properties in between me and the mountain). Do I need to worry about my horses and the bear? Or can I go turn them out? They're all content napping in the cool barn with lots of hay, so they don't mind either way. The bear is still hanging out in the brush across the street from my field, so I'm not sure if he would get curious with the horses or not.

Also, do you think I should call animal control? My grandad, who's some crazy zoologist/wildlife guy, says they probably won't do anything because I live so close to the mountain. But, the bear is on our school bus path.........
They're all mine in some way, shape or form. So I don't have to worry about pissing off owners because I turned them out when a bear was around.
So I called my states wildlife department/animal control and they said "We can't do anything, and there's no point of reporting it". And the lady who I talked with was a B!OTCH.
Great, so I may not have to worry about my horses, but what about my ducks/chickens/fowl!? ARG, gotta love living here.
It was the Wildlife Game & Fishing, but also the animal violation hotline.

I just got my 1 yr old husky and she's blowing her coat, I've tried the brushing her twice a day and she is still shedding like crazy. How long do they shed like this and could be the stress of a new home?

What kind of pain is this?

I have the oddest pain in my knee. When I brush across the inside of my left knee with my hand, or sometimes clothing, I get a really strong sharp pain in it. When I press on my knee to see where exactly it hurts, I don't feel any pain at all. It only hurts when something brushes across it softly. Could this be nerve pain? Do you think I should see a doctor?
